Spread The Purple, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is looking for volunteers!

 

Many community service organizations require volunteer assistance over the summer, fall and on into the holiday months. There are many ways you can lend a hand. Here are a few of the programs currently looking for volunteers: Spread The Purple is organizing a 5K Run/Walk For Warmth on 09/03/2016 and all the registered guests’ would be participating. We are expecting around 300 people to participate. We will appreciate if the volunteers will be responsible for set-up, providing water at designated water stations, racer packets, serving food and cleanup for the event and also guide them to places where they have to run/walk.

 

Spread The Purple requires volunteers to assist in their community awareness committee on activities would include visiting schools and contacting organizations to give information on updating/annual programs.

 

Volunteers, age 18 and over, are needed to work on opportunities, including assisting staff in program planning, establishing small group or one-to-one relationships, and leading recreation and community awareness activities.These are just a few of the opportunities available to help make a difference.
